Position Activities

Designs web pages for client based on content provided by various web liaisons.
Develops xHTML, CSS, Javascript, and Flash.
Contributes creative ideas and proposals for new design and technology solutions.
Ensures that institutional branding guidelines and web standards are adhered to throughout the site.
Performs other duties as required.
Responds to phone and email requests from clients and internal staff members regarding any web related issues.

Minimum Requirements

Candidiate must have extensive practical experience and strong skills in graphic design and with overall web site development.
Must be an expert with Photoshop and Illustrator as well as standards compliant HTML and CSS.
Must have outstanding skills with interface design and information architecture.
Must have experience creating pages that are cross-platform and cross-browser compatible.
College graduate with 2 to 3 years experience.
Highly Desired Requirements

Javascript (expert) and JQuery experience a MUST
