Web Support Specialist (freelance)
at Muriel Mayberry in New York
The Web Support Specialists are primarily responsible for resolving end-user issues, updating and maintaining web sites – and supporting the content management systems (CMS) for Company and affiliates. The Web Support Specialists participate in all aspects of web site design and development as well as training and go-live support. Each specialist works directly with management and other team members on a variety of projects to help the web team meet short- and long-term goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in a health care specialty, business, education or other relevant field.
At least 1 year experience providing application support and professional services in a healthcare specialty, business, education or relevant field. Solid knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, xHTML, CSS, Javascript required, along with experience with web design and development.
Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to develop proficiency with unfamiliar toolsets is required.
Ability to work with others in a matrix management environment.
Attention to detail, patience, and a positive, customer centric attitude are all also required.
Highly Desired Requirements
Experience working in, or closely with, physicians and academic staff a plus.
