Senior .NET Developer/Team Lead * 2 required to join a leading interactive, multi platform agency specialising in web delivery and games development.

The Company…

Our client is the UK’s market leader in producing and distributing interactive web offerings to the media industry and beyond. There are two new initiatives that are being undertaken:
1. One involves the white-room development of bespoke gaming content for the existing and future client base
2. The other involves enhancing the functionality scope of the existing web-based product offerings

The Role…

The role is well suited to a proven web-based applications developer specialising in .NET technologies and programming. It would ideally attract someone talented who is looking for a first or second team lead role within a web based, high transaction, development environment – although candidates from other application development disciplines are also encouraged to apply.

It is expected the successful candidate would be proactive in the following areas:
• Defining and enforcing Coding Standards and implementation
• Provide high quality back-end solutions for the business
• Understanding the Business Model to affect improved day-today decision making and management capabilities
• Team Management (both in house and off shore teams)
• Build up the team and mentor junior developers
• Report and Advise the Management team on matters relating to the .Net function

Key Skills…

• Amazing C#/.NET coding skills
• Experience in managing and undertaking code reviews and processes
• Experience in working with the business to understand the requirements of the applications and impact that upon the day to day tasks of the .NET function
• Applications Development with C#/.NET Technologies and programming
• Awareness of and ability to implement and define best practise with regards to coding standards, the development life cycle, and QA processes
• An understanding of relational data base platforms such as SQL Server
• An ability to feed in to the general business, ideas and solutions for process and practise improvements to either reduce overheads, increase speed to market, or improve the product offering
