North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world. We are a non-profit organization and since 1944, the League's mission has been saving the lives of pets through adoption, rescue and advocacy initiatives. Every year, the League reaches across the country to rescue, nurture and adopt nearly 20,000 pets into happy and loving homes. Over the years, the League has placed close to 1 million puppies, kittens, cats and dogs into carefully screened homes.
We are looking for an experienced Associate Web Producer to help maintain the organization’s online content and the execution of campaigns across all web properties, including membership/loyalty marketing. Responsibilities include managing the annual online marketing calendar that consists of acquisition and retention efforts, loyalty initiatives, e-mail fundraising campaigns, general web content, digital newsletter content, online advertising, and social media efforts. In the course of executing position responsibilities, the Associate Web Producer will work closely with internal web team, and other internal teams, plus any external web resources.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a BA in Marketing Communications, Multimedia/Digital Design or related degree. Must have 3-4 years experience in a corporate marketing department, advertising agency or online agency account services, with hands-on responsibility for developing and managing web content, complex deliverables and timelines. Must have the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage various deadlines simultaneously. Will adhere to agreements and creative briefs and have the ability to create effective and efficient project plans with influence from manager. Ability to gather, synthesize and drive resolution of projects from a cross-functional team. Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and web content management software. Experience with Convio, a plus. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
