PROJECT MANAGER / SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT – LONDON BRIDGE

PROJECT MANAGER / SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT – LONDON BRIDGE (REF: RH-000B3A, Closing Date: 31/03/2010, Salary: £45-55k + Extensive Benefits)
We have an opening for a Project Manager to join one of the UKs fastest growing software development / technical consultancies that possess an enviable client list and industry recognition which extends from GC Awards for Innovation to Computing Awards for Excellence.
Joining a fast growing, exciting business our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner who work at the forefront of the consulting and technology industry. Ongoing expansion in their London office now means they are seeking to hire a Project Manager to work across the complete project lifecycle delivering large scale Microsoft based projects (Web 2.0, SOA, SharePoint, .NET and Web Services) within an Agile environment.
Reporting to the Director of the team, you will play an integral role within the Project Management team controlling the full project lifecycle of what can be very in depth and technically challenging Microsoft solutions. This position offers a diverse and varied environment where projects can vary a great deal, both in size and client, across the public and private sectors. In more detail you will:
• Work with internal and external teams to ensure all projects are kept on track throughout their lifecycle.
• Actively manage up to 5 concurrent projects (depending upon the size and complexity).
• Effectively manage, escalate, and resolve issues and risks during the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Implement and embed world class but practical project management processes.
• Assist the Director of Service Delivery with improving the quality, efficiency and overall capability of the Project Management team.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the team
To qualify we are seeking a best in class Project Manager with a solid background in managing the full project lifecycles for technically demanding software development projects. Your CV should highlight a degree education; Prior extensive experience of the Agile development methodology; Strong client relationships skills; An ability to develop project charters and a proven track record of delivering software development projects on time, within (or below) budget and to quality standards.
