New Rates & work remotely! PHP5, ZEND - FORTUNE 250 SR. DEVELOPER
at Confidential in S.E. Michigan or Remote
TELECOMMUTING IS AN OPTION!
A Fortune 250 client of mine is starting an 8 week contract and they are looking for a senior developer whose strongest skills are in PHP5 preferably working with the Zend (or a similar) framework. They are using Adobe’s Flex builder for the user interface so experience with that tool or similar is helpful but not required.
This project is the 2nd phase of a demonstration product that at its completion could get an extension for further development (approximately another 6 – 12 months of work).
The consultant will be working with a group of developers out of Germany. The client would prefer the contractor work in their Southfield Michigan offices, but would consider telecommuting as an alternative for the right resource. Someone with strong PHP5, Zend and Flex Builder with experience working in an enterprise environment would be the best fit.
Pay scale for this contract ranges from $40/hr to $70/hr depending on location, employment status, skills, and hrs/week available to work. While local resources who can work on sight are preferred, out of town, proven telecommuting consultants/contractors who can commit to a dedicated 30 hours or more of work / week will be an option.
Out of town/remote consultants must make themselves available for at least a 2 hour window most business days (Mon-Fri) for meetings, progress updates, questoins/answers and other key communications as required by the Client. Since the Project Manager and rest of the development team is in Germany, this 2 or 3 hr window needs to be somewhere between 6AM - 11AM Eastern Standard Time. All other hours the consultant works can be flexible as long as resource is meeting client deliverable requirements.
This is a unique project that might help a PHP developer get robust enterprise application development experience as well as exposure to working with an international development team.
This is a backfill position for someone who went out on medical leave so time is of the essense. A resource would need to start ASAP, and the sooner the better.
