JOB SUMMARY
Lead Allonhill’s technology and infrastructure design teams across the networks, systems, and security environments. Responsibilities include system planning and deployment, making recommendations on standards, implementing both technical solutions and governance processes, and acting as a key resource for middleware conversion initiative. Responsible for the development and delivery of best practice IT security standards to ensure system and data security across the company. Oversees and coordinates all audits and testing of enterprise systems, including co-location and backup sites.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure the definition, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructures (network, security, application, and data).
• Ensure Allonhill technology strategy is aligned to execute Allonhill’s business initiatives.
• Evaluate, create, implement, and review architecture models to meet business initiatives.
• Review current infrastructure and develop current state, transitional state and future state requirements. Conduct GAP analyses between current state and future state to create transition plans.
• Coordinate testing and implementation of system and programming development.
• Develop standards for, and coordinate assessments of, all of Allonhill’s systems, applications, and databases at Allonhill’s offices, co-location site, and backup site.
• Serve as point of contact with respect to security and infrastructure assessments performed by Allonhill clients.
• Respond to all enterprise security issues, including rapid assessment and implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement best practice security standards to ensure the security of all Allonhill systems, applications, and data.
• Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans in conjunction with Allonhill’s compliance officer.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices as they evolve over time.
• Create, implement, and maintain reporting systems for assessing the efficacy of all IT infrastructure.
• Assist senior management in establishing governance processes, identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring the efficient use of company resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in the following areas:
• Design, development, and implementation of technical systems and security measures; experience with enterprise architecture a must. Experience in mortgage or financial services industries a plus.
• Design and implementation of application and network security concepts and technologies, including but not limited to: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Packet captures and Application Security.
• The design and configuration of systems to detect and mitigate complex and often unpredictable traffic anomalies, to include the use of IDS/IPS devices, packet sniffers, flow-based tools and traditional MPLS and BGP-based traffic engineering measures.
• Designing and implementing Storage Area Networks. (NetApp, HP and EMC technologies a plus); fiber channel switch administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of multilayer switching, internal and external routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS and others), and VoIP architectures.
• Virtualization and cloud computing
• Internet routing protocol design and operation, network analysis and statistics generation, vendor and hardware/software selection, peering & transit issues, security mechanisms, attack mitigation, capacity planning, router, switch and firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and end-to-end network engineering
• Intimate knowledge of network provider and carrier offerings (for WAN, LAN, MAN, MPLS)
• Designing and implementing test plans to certify hardware and software
• Implementation and utilization of a LAN/WAN, Network Management System solution, and/or client server environments
• Expert knowledge of Cisco, Foundry, Juniper, F5, and other enterprise-class data networking equipment and product lines
• Knowledge of *NIX based systems (RedHat and CentOS) are a plus
• In-depth IP concepts and High Availability architecture design knowledge
• Reviewing new project requirements to develop architectural solutions that optimize service delivery in accordance with the highest industry standards
• Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
• Analyzing technology solution options and making recommendations to executive management
• Planning and budgeting IT implementation initiatives
• The ability to work proactively and independently with minimal guidance
• Middleware conversion initiatives, preferably JBOSS.
• Four year degree in information systems or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Network expert credentials and certifications (CCIE is a plus)
• The ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
• Programming experience a plus
