Yes, there actually is work in Detroit!

We have a project for a large website based on a Grails back-end and Flash front-end. We have two positions open for the back-end development work.

While the current position is freelance, we are looking to establish a long term relationship with developers. So being a dedicated, self-motivated developer who is passionate about their work is crucial. More projects are in the pipeline and full-time positions will be available in the future.

Must Haves:
- Groogy/Grails EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- 5+ years of J2EE experience
- Proficient in Java, Struts or Spring WebMVC, Spring 2.0
- Good understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with SQL Databases
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
- Experience with SCM
- Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively come up with new ideas

Bonuses:
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience with Tomcat
- Experience with Linux
