Web Designer

We are looking for experienced web designers with a combination of strong XHTML, CSS and information architecture skills.
We build, develop and support web-communities for clients that wish to create and grow a large web-community that reaches over the 1,200,000 users mark. We have specialist knowledge and proven experience of meeting the unique demands of heavy-traffic and high-load web-platforms: scalable systems that serve over 50 million visitors per month and deliver web-applications to over 12,000 concurrent users.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and innovative, good at „getting things done“, and have experience using social networking/dating websites.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and implement new features/projects on your own, as well as building on existing features of our different websites.
- From conception through to implementation, you’ll be writing code used by thousands of people every day.
- Working well within the The NetCircle team to help improve our products.
Requirements:
- Expert at hand coding web standard websites in XHTML & CSS
- Ability to program cross browser / platform compatible sites
- Comfortable designing and working from information architecture, wirefames and user flows
- Skilled in Photoshop
- Flexibility: we are medium sized company and we move quickly
- Must be able to communicate in English
Pluses:
- Familiarity with a wide range of relevant technologies and web standards such as microformats, XFN etc.
- Knowledge in JavaScript, DOM
- Skills Flash Design/ActionScript
