I've been running the WebDevRadio podcast since mid 2005, and one of the constants during the past 3 years has been getting contacted by recruiters looking for quality candidates. During that same time period, there's been an increasing need for quality web technologists of all persuasions in a variety of industries.
I see the evidence regularly, with people constantly telling me they can't find good people, and good people telling me they can't find quality jobs. This job board is a step towards helping each camp connect.
All postings are free. I may consider some form of enhanced job postings for an extra charge, but I'm more interested in helping people connect than anything else at this point.
I'm a big believer in open source software, and this project is no exception. This job board is an open source implementation of www.jobber.ro.
